"Coming to America" - Caleb McDuff to race in the USA

Friday 24th October 2025

Welsh racing driver Caleb McDuff, the UK’s only male deaf racing driver, will make his competitive overseas racing debut when he represents Team BRIT in the Veterans Race of Remembrance (VRoR) at Virginia International Raceway in the United States.

The event, taking place 7 – 9 November 2025, forms part of the U.S. Veterans Day weekend and features a 12-hour multi-class endurance race that honours the service and sacrifice of military veterans while promoting recovery and rehabilitation through motorsport.

After an exceptional race season, Caleb has been selected to drive a Ford Mustang, equipped with his world-leading technology that allows him to communicate as a deaf racing driver with his pit crew.

Caleb will line up alongside British GT4 drivers Aaron Morgan and Paul Fullick, joining forces with U.S.-based Resilience Racing drivers and injured American troops, Jon Winker and Adam Poppenhouse, for the landmark international collaboration between the two teams.

“Racing in the U.S. is the perfect way to end my 2025 season,” said Caleb. “From pre-season testing in Portugal, where I got to take my dad out as a passenger for a hot lap in the McLaren GT4, to multiple podiums throughout the year, and also the release of our book Breaking the Sound Barrier, this season has been incredible. I’m particular excited to be driving the Ford Mustang, such an iconic American car, and driving it for the first time in America, it will bring a whole new challenge for me. I’m so grateful to my sponsors, Team BRIT and my dad for creating these opportunities for me.”

A Breakthrough Season

This year marked Calebs first full season in GT4, racing Team BRIT’s McLaren 570S GT4 in the Britcar Endurance Championship alongside teammate Noah Cosby. The pairing secured multiple podium finishes.

The GT4 campaign followed a standout 2024 season, during which Caleb clinched the overall class title in Team BRIT’s BMW 1 Series and M240i Cup cars, earning his promotion to the McLaren programme for 2025.

Now, with his invitation to race in America, Caleb caps an exceptional year that’s seen him continue to rise through the ranks of British motorsport while inspiring others with his journey as a deaf athlete competing at the highest levels.

And there’s some even more exciting news Caleb wants to share about his next motorsport challenge that will be announced in November.
